Long-Term Care

All of the sixteen long-term care beds at Ka’u Hospital are in semi-private rooms.  All the rooms have been recently painted and upgraded thanks in large part to community donations through our Adopt-a-Room Project.  We strive to provide a very caring home-like environment for all our residents that respects their individuality and encourages continued engagement in the community. Our residents and their relatives are very much a part of our hospital ohana. Caring for our kupuna is ingrained in the culture of our staff.
